Mixtape

We’re doing this again! Remember last time? Yeah.

Same rules apply: Across clues are normal. Down clues need to be split into two clues and repunctuated. The answer to one of these clues goes in the circled squares, and the other goes in the uncircled squares.

(For example: “School group gossip” might give you FISH (“school group”) and DISH (“gossip”). You’d still have to figure out which of those answers goes in the circled squares.)

Facial features

If you manage to finish this one without knowing what the long entries are talking about, well, just google the answer to 20-Across and treat yourself.

Skeddadle squabble

My brain was white noise yesterday (hmm, wonder why). I made this puzzle in order to give it something to focus on. If you need a chewy, unfair, hopelessly unbalanced puzzle today—perhaps while standing in a long line, or while trying to avoid the news—well, here you go. I promise there’s nothing topical in it. And if you’re phone banking today, hey, this puzzle will be here when you’re done.
