I was too tired to write clues, so I entered the answers into GIPHY and just used the results. Sorry.

(Behind the scenes: I wrote this puzzle a few weeks ago, but PuzzleMe had a feature where it would automatically pop up the images to take over the screen in a way that was very frustrating. When I asked them about it, they said they were planning on changing it up real soon. And so they have! In the meantime, Amanda Rafkin put out a puzzle with images for clues the other day, so go play that one too.)

Will (who makes great puzzles!) said that his computer has a particular key that’s a bit borked. This makes it harder for him to do crosswords. So this puzzle is for him! I’ll keep quiet about which of his keys is defective.

I got sick, and it was no fun, but I’m on the mend. Anyway, this was a little late. Mikey found 1-Across very, very easy; hopefully you’ll be able to figure out even if you don’t recognize it.

Today in b-days

I got a lot of nice feedback from my last puzzle. Maybe go play that instead of this puzzle, which is what happens when you have an idea so unfunny and ungood that you force yourself to unleash it onto the world, as a way of telling your brain: NO! Never again!
