Hey, thank you all for playing my puzzles or watching my crossword streams or making great puzzles for me to solve or just being a part of a lovely community. It’s weird to have one nice thing to say about last year, but stumbling upon the Crossworld sure was nice. Happy new year, everybody!
A certain crosswording friend sure has put a lot of puzzles out recently! I even had a whole day of my crossword stream with nothing but her puzzles—including the NYTimes! But she announced that there would be no new puzzles from her appearing today. (But there might be another tomorrow?) OK, in this brief window, let me sneak a puzzle out…
Some puzzles have themes, and some puzzles don’t, and some puzzles are in a weird liminal place, like this one. Also, this was my first collaborative puzzle! It’s by me and Brian Thomas, whose puzzles can be found on Puzzles that Need a Home. Brian was a lot of fun to collaborate with, and definitely pushed me to find things I might not have looked for on my own.
